Description
Duration depends on the season; your guide will confirm the time. Moving quietly through Estonian forests with an experienced guide, reading fresh tracks and signs to find where bears are active. Completely wild animals, no baiting, no staging. Your guide briefs you on bear behavior and movement patterns before the tour and stays with you throughout. Bears are most reliably active from May to October. Estonia has approximately 1,000 wild brown bears — one of Europe's highest densities. A genuine, unhurried encounter with wild nature.
