What makes Looduskeskus special?

Looduskeskus is set in Ardu village, Harjumaa, in the heart of a beautiful forest landscape, just 40 minutes from Tallinn. Our three cabins — Ilveseurg, Karukoobas and Hundiurg — are designed so that you feel completely immersed in nature without sacrificing any comfort.

Waking up to birdsong

One of the very best things about staying at Looduskeskus is the morning wake-up. No traffic noise, no city sounds — just the gentle chorus of woodland birds. In spring, this is particularly magical. Cuckoos, titmice, skylarks and many other species live around the cabins, and their morning concert is the best possible way to begin the day.

Imagine sitting in a steaming hot tub surrounded by a winter forest, stars overhead, with nothing to hear but the whisper of the trees. That is part of the Looduskeskus experience. Selected cabins include a private hot tub, and all three offer the peace and fireplace atmosphere that make the colder seasons something truly special.

Ilveseurg (Lynx Den)

A cosy 21 m² nature cabin with private hot tub, fireplace, kitchen and terrace with forest views. Up to 4 people. Pets welcome. Ideal for a romantic getaway or family retreat.

Karukoobas (Bear Cave)

Our most popular cabin, rated 9.6/10 for couples on Booking.com. Karukoobas is set near Paunküla Reservoir with a private garden, fireplace and seasonal hot tub. Completely private and peaceful.

Hundiurg (Wolf Den)

A 21 m² nature cabin with fireplace, kitchen and terrace. Perfect for families and small groups, and also available as an event venue.
