
Looduskeskus Summer Camps 2026 – Adventure, Nature and Science Combined
Summer camps 2026 for children aged 9–13, with two four-day sessions, a maximum of 12 children per session, and a full nature-based programme.
Looduskeskus summer camps 2026 are for children aged 9–13 and take place near Paunküla lake in Silmsi village, Kose Parish, Harjumaa. The camp combines outdoor adventure, science, photography and calm time in nature.
Sessions 2026
- Session I: 15–18 June 2026 (Monday to Thursday morning)
- Session II: 7–10 July 2026 (Tuesday to Friday morning)
- Duration: 4 days / 3 nights
- Arrival: 10:00 on the first day; departure: 10:00 on the final day
- Age: 9–13 years
- Group size: maximum 12 children per session
Location
The camp takes place in Harjumaa, Kose Parish, Silmsi village, near Paunküla lake, about 40 minutes by car from Tallinn.
Price and what is included
The price is 280 EUR per child. It includes all activities, guidance, materials, equipment, meals and accommodation. There are no extra costs on site, and Tallinn transport is not claimed as included.
Camp programme
- Science experiments: playful, hands-on experiments that help children explore natural phenomena.
- Photography: nature photography workshops where children learn to notice details and use a camera outdoors.
- Canoeing: calm-water canoeing with life jackets, shallow water and a trained instructor supervising the group.
- SUP: balance practice on stand-up paddleboards with life jackets and an instructor.
- Survival skills: shelter building, fire making, finding water and learning which berries are safe to recognise.
- We make pizza ourselves.
- Campfire evenings and marshmallows.
- Sauna and hot tub: sauna and hot tub time every evening.
- Daily swimming: swimming every day when the weather allows.
Safety and parent information
- Small groups: maximum 12 children per session.
- Trained instructors supervise the children throughout the camp.
- Safety equipment is used for water activities, including life jackets for canoeing and SUP.
- Healthy meals and snacks are provided.
- Accommodation is in Looduskeskus rooms.
- Digital detox: we recommend leaving smart devices at home.
