Active and Fun Winter Camp for Children Aged 7–12

Winter is a special time in Estonian nature — snow turns the forests magical, animal tracks are clearly visible, and stars shine brighter in the dark. Looduskeskus is organising a winter camp on 2–3 January 2025 for children aged 7–12, where they can experience winter nature at its very best.

• Dates: 2–3 January 2025 (1 overnight, 2 days)
• Age: 7–12 years
• Price: €130 per child
• Price includes: one overnight stay, all meals, all activities and materials
• Maximum 10 children

Winter camp activities

Winter offers unique opportunities in nature that simply can't be found in summer. Our winter camp programme:

• Learning about winter nature — snow crystals, ice structure, observing snowflakes
• Reading animal tracks in the forest — who passed through here last night?
• Making fire in winter — how to light a fire and stay warm when it's cold
• Night snow adventure — torch-lit hike into the winter forest
• Winter nature photography — how to photograph snow and animal tracks
• Hot cocoa by the campfire — the camp's traditional closing ritual
